This week marks one of the most important weeks in the school year. Camp has arrived! On Friday, a team from Cedarville University in Ohio arrived in Puebla to serve as counselors. Several teachers are also working as counselors. I will be serving with the junior high and high school campers from Tuesday through Saturday this week. Friday evening, I met the students from Cedarville and went to the camp Saturday afternoon to assist with elementary registration. The camp, Oasis de Agua Viva, is located just south of Puebla. It is a beautiful camp with neatly manicured lawns and well-kept cabins. There is a basketball court, swimming pool, and soccer field.
After a few days of rest, I will head back to the camp to work with the older students. Needless to say I am real excited. God will change lives this week! Starting Tuesday evening, I will update this blog regularly, so check back in to see what God is doing. Please pray for fun, safety, and changed lives.
